Phuong Nguyen-Tri is a regular professor at the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Physics, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), Quebec, Canada. He is the founder of the Laboratory of Advanced Materials for Energy and Environment (Nguyen-Tri Lab- https://nguyen-trilab.ca/) at UQTR and holds the UQTR Research Chair of Advanced Materials for Health and Security at work.
His main research interests are nanomaterials, advanced materials for energy and environment, hybrid nanoparticles, smart coatings, polymer crystallization, polymer aging and polymer blends and composites. He is also visiting Professor at Université de Montréal and associate Professor at ETS of Montréal, regular member of I2E3, CQMF of Montreal, CREPEC of Quebec and associate member of IRH.
Prof. Nguyen-Tri has edited 14 books and monograph (10 from Elsevier). He served as an editor (Guest editor) of 10 special issues in the esteemed international journals such as Progress in Organic Coatings (Elsevier), Nanostructures and Nano-objects (Elsevier), PLoS One(PNAS), SN Applied Science (Nature-Springer), Polymers, Journal of Composites Science.
