Dr Ahmed Hourri is a Research Officer at the Hydrogen Research Institute since 2001. His research activities include studies of storage and security of hydrogen as an energy carrier.
He holds a M.Sc. from the City University of New York (1991) and a Ph. D. in Sciences de l’Énergie et des Matériaux from the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS) in 1998. His PH. D. thesis was on dielectric and thermodynamic properties of pure gases and gas mixtures at high pressures.
After his Ph. D., as a recipient of a Québec-Flandres international cooperation fellowship, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Acoustic and Thermal Physics laboratory of the Physics department at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, in Leuven, Belgium.
